Allen Andrade was convicted of first-degree murder and of a bias-motivated crime in the murder of Angie Zapata. This story has been covered elsewhere by better writers than me, but I had to get my word in when I heard the news.
At last some sense. I thought this could have been my end, you have an image of me in 1970 and can imagine the reactions of groups of saturday night males when one realises he has made a public display of attraction in front of his pals towards someone who they are all starting to doubt. It stopped me wearing earrings, the irony is that these thugs and their progeny ALL now wear earrings almost from birth. I served my ten year sentence in the city and moved to the edge of the countryside where the worst you get is a puzzled look!
