Numbers 1 and 2 do refer to hotel guests. #3 is a household thing. Urinating in the shower saves water versus flushing the toilet. I don't have a problem with my roommate peeing in the shower. I've even done it. But you're not supposed to leave the pee standing in the tub. That's GROSS!
I lived with a cat once who thought the bathtub was a toilet. Getting a shower in the morning there was always a dangerous thing: make sure you're awake enough to get the all clear!
